With EarthNavigator, if you are a registered user, you
can see real-time animated cloud cover on the globe.
The cloud cover images are a composite of real-time images from
various satellites that are 'stitched' together and then
superimposed on the globe. The original source of the cloud cover
images is the Global
Hydrology and Climate Centre of NASA .
These cloud cover images are updated about every hour and
can be downloaded from our website using the Clouds tab of
the Preferences dialog. Again, you must be a registered
user of EarthNavigator to download these files.
A set of sample cloud cover images are included with the
evaluation version of EarthNavigator.
