EarthNavigator |
| You can download the program from any of the
sites listed below.
The downloaded file (called EarthNav5.zip) is about 4.8MB. Unzip
the file using a program such as WinZip
and then run the InstallEarthNavigator program.
Note: If you are a registered user of
Version 4, you will need a new registration key for this version.
Just email us at support@earthnavigator.com
to request a new registration key. |

Translations |
|
All EarthNavigator menu captions, hints and prompts can be
customized to your language. The Languages folder (found in the folder where you installed EarthNavigator) contains files with the text for these captions, hints or prompts.
You may download any translation file from the list below. Just
download a file, copy it to the Languages folder and select Preferences
Languages tab to install the translation.
And if you don't see one for your language, be the first to
translate the English file that is included with
EarthNavigator, send it to us, and we'll give you a free registered
copy of the EarthNavigator.

Texture Map
Downloads |
| Additional globe texture maps (the bitmap
that is superimposed or 'wrapped' around the globe to give it a more realistic
look) can be downloaded from our Yahoo
Group.

The texture maps available include: |
| Earth
2700 x 1350 - a detailed texture map, with a bitmap
resolution of 2700 pixels wide by 1350 pixels high. |
| Earth
5400 x 2700 - the much more detailed texture map with a
bitmap resolution of 5400 pixels wide by 2700 pixels wide. |
| Earth
10800 x 5400 - the most detailed EarthNavigator texture
available. This texture is only available by special
request to registered users of EarthNavigator. |
| City
Lights 2400 x 1200 - cities at night. |

Additional Road
Downloads |
| For registered users,
detailed
road maps, that are visible when you zoom into the globe, are
available for 22 countries.
Click on any of these road data files to
download them from our Yahoo
Group and then copy them to the Roads folder within the
EarthNavigator program folder. .
Then, select the Globe->Preferences
menu command to include these roads on the globe. |

| The road
information is based on data available from the GIS Data Depot.
Again,
only registered users of EarthNavigator can select and view these
roads on the globe.
