The Globe |
| An interactive 3D
photo-realistic globe lets you see the world while you cruise the
Internet. With the globe, you can
double-click on any country or place, and show a web-site with
more information about the place |

Globe Preferences |
| Right-click
anywhere on the globe to display a menu to show the day-night
shadow, see lines of latitude/longitude, zoom in
or out, save preset views using the View Manager, and
much, much more. Use the Preferences dialog to set these and other
options.

Find a community |
| Looking for a
place on the globe. Use the unique Find... dialog
to find a place from the over 85,000 available places. |

Distances |
| What is the distance
between two points? No
problem. Use the Distance dialog and see either the
shortest distance around the world, or the longest. It's easy and fun
to use. |

|
Globe Layers |
| Every place on the globe, such as countries, states or cities, are defined on a globe layer. Each layer contains places of a similar type and there are three types of layers;
areas (or polygons), routes (or polylines) and places
(points). To view the layers that are available or to create your own layer files,
right-click the globe and choose the Layers option from the
Globe Menu. |

Layer Display
Properties |
| The places in a layer can be displayed in many different ways by changing the display properties of the layer. Choose the
Properties... option from the Layer Menu to display a dialog where you can define
many different display options. |

Zoom in for incredible
detail
|
| Shrink the globe to a small corner of the screen or
make it as big as your screen....and then send it to your system
tray. You can also quickly save and recall any view of the
globe...check out the View Manager feature in our Help
file.

Active Places and
Active Routes
|
| Visit an EarthNavigator Active
website and see
more places on the globe. And you can set the option to show the globe
(and play a sound) if the website has Active Places. If you are
using the EarthNavigator, then visit
this website to see these Active Places for nearly 300
airports (and their related websites). |
