| With the EarthNavigator, you can quickly open a website with a satellite picture of any place in the United States. The satellite pictures are courtesy of the
Microsoft TerraServer
and can be displayed in a variety of resolutions.
The resolution at which the satellite picture is displayed varies depending on the key pressed, as follows:

detailed with a closer view of the area.

| As an example, move the mouse over the City of New York and press the
2 key. A website is opened showing a satellite picture of the New York area at a resolution of
2 meters per pixel.
To zoom into more detail, either use the controls that are available on the website, or click the globe and move the mouse to the same location and press a number key
from 1 to 7.
